“The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”
Why do I believe that having a life plan is always good thing?
The answer is simple, having a plan means having a goal to work towards to and it is also something to look forward to which makes life less boring and can reduce the chances of getting depressed. It gives the motivation to keep us moving forward. I say this because sometimes I ask myself whether I’m dying to live or if I’m living to die, and this can sometimes make me feel down, specially during those days when nothing goes right. Setting up a plan on what you will do next can help with these anxieties as you feel more organised and ready to be more productive while hoping for positive outcomes.
What type of life plans can we have in life?
1. Buying a house
2. Saving for holidays
3. Saving for assets other than a house i.e. a new car
4. Marriage
5. Having children
6. Travelling
7. Changing jobs/starting your own business
8. Carrying on with further education
Of course there are many other plans that you can make in life, it solely depends on yourself on what you want to achieve whether it is long-term or short-term.

Not all life plans/goals always work as you planned. Sometimes you will be disappointed and the beauty of it all is that you don’t have to stop trying in order to achieve your dreams; of course you have to be realistic on what your life goals are as some of them are not reachable at all!
There will be times when you will have to try over and over again just to reach a certain stage of your goal before you even reach your final goal so you have to be very patient.
The key in life is to always believe in yourself, don’t lose your hope and faith when facing obstacles along the way and always be positive.
